宮下香代・金卵喜 「詩のない詩画」

「静けさ」や「見えない光」といった、空間の感覚や美意識を共有する二人の作家による展示です。
目に見えるかたちだけでなく、その背後にある気配や余韻、時間の流れに目を向けます。
宮下香代は、針金と和紙という最小限の素材を用い、儚さや危うさを孕んだ立体作品を制作しています。
その造形は、無意識のうちに生まれる構造の美しさに由来し、確かさと不確かさのあいだに揺らぎながら、空間にかすかな存在感を立ち上げます。
金卵喜は、韓国の民画「冊架図」を基盤に、簡潔な要素と抑制された色彩、余白によって構成された絵画を制作しています。
その画面は、詩のように静かな情緒と余韻を宿し、古典と現代の要素がゆるやかに共存する空間を描き出します。
本展は、「二つの異なるプロセスが一つに連なるとき、何が立ち現れるのか」という問いから出発しています。
共通する「紙」と「線」を基点に、平面と立体のあいだに位置する構造を試みています。
異なる方法から生まれた二つの表現は、互いに静かに呼応しながら、日常の中にある繊細な感覚を浮かび上がらせます。

“Poem Without Words” brings together two artists who share a sensitivity toward spatial perception and aesthetics—qualities such as “quietness” and “invisible light.”
Their works invite attention not only to visible forms, but also to the traces, atmospheres, and flows of time that exist beyond them.
Kayo Miyashita creates sculptural works using minimal materials such as wire and washi paper, evoking fragility and subtle instability.
Her forms emerge from the unconscious beauty of structure itself, wavering between certainty and uncertainty while quietly inhabiting space with a delicate presence.
Kim Ranhe creates paintings based on the traditional Korean folk painting genre “Chaekgeori,” composed through restrained colors, simple elements, and intentional empty space.
Her compositions hold a poetic stillness and lingering resonance, depicting spaces where classical and contemporary sensibilities gently coexist.
This exhibition begins with the question: “What emerges when two different processes become connected as one?”
Using the shared elements of “paper” and “line” as points of departure, the artists explore structures that exist between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms.
The two distinct expressions, born from different approaches, quietly respond to one another, revealing the subtle sensibilities embedded within everyday life.
