3人の陶芸家による企画展です。
土や釉薬の素材に向き合い、自分の中のイメージを形にしようとチャレンジしています。試行錯誤しながら制作している彼女たちの作品からは心地よいエネルギーが放出されています。未完成だけれども可能性に溢れています。

自然に任せた焼成によって加わる景色は新鮮味が増し楽しい

層のぬけがら
層から見えるもの、見えないもの。
蓄積された地層には、様々な時代の痕跡が見られ、人間は想像する。そこからインスピレーションを受け、泥、砂、釉薬を「自然性」「身体性」「創造性」を地層のように混在させ「層」をテーマに制作してきた。
焼物が炎に耐える瞬間、強く儚い表情、見たことのない層のぬけがら(痕跡)から見える世界を見てほしい。

粘土を触ると、長い時間をかけて浸食され、今の形になったことを想像してしまうのです。自然から採取したものと同じように。ある意味、粘土は有機的であり、私と共創する生命体のようなものです。
自然の中を散歩しているとき、落ちた種を見ると、いつも宇宙の中にいるような気がするんです。小さな種の一つひとつが、その宇宙を所有する「ペイル・ブルー・ドット」なのです。私たち人間は、ほんの一瞬の間に、大きくもあり、小さくもあるのです。

This is a special exhibition by three ceramic artists. Facing the materials of clay and glaze, they challenge themselves to give shape to the images in their minds. Their works, which they create through trial and error, emit a pleasant energy. What is unfinished is full of potential.

The scenery added by the firing, left to nature, is fresh and fun.
May each piece be pleasantly pleasantly and spontaneously.

Sliver of a layer
What can be seen from the layers, and what cannot be seen.
In the accumulated strata, traces of various eras can be seen, and people imagine.
Inspired by this, I have been working on the theme of “layers” by mixing mud, sand, and glaze with “nature,” “physicality,” and “creativity” like a stratum.
I want you to see the moment when pottery endures the flames, the strong and fragile expression, and the world that can be seen through the unseen layered fragments (traces).
ANDO Miki

When I touch the clay, I imagine that it has been eroded over a long period of time to become what it is today. Just as if it were taken from nature. In a way, clay is organic, like a living organism that co-creates with me.
When I go for a walk in nature and see the fallen seeds, I always feel like I am in the universe. Each tiny seed is a “Pale Blue Dot” that owns its universe. We humans are both big and small in just a few moments.
