After the jar is unglazed and painted with a fine brush in a state of unglazed pottery, it is called "Dami". This is the first time I've ever seen this kind of work. It's a design that was found in Kutani pottery of the Meiji era, although it's not seen these days. They are the most important part of our collection. After painting on the unglazed pottery with a fine brush using kosu (pigments), the artist creates a line of glaze called a dami. After a few years of study, we have been able to create a series of paintings of the same name. It is not seen recently, but it is a design that existed in the Kutani pottery of the Meiji era. It's an elephant that doesn't falter even if it is messed with by Karako and her friends.
