「磁器のいれものに玉状に成型した釉薬を詰めてゆき、最後に膨らむ釉薬で満し蓋をして焼成。焼成後にいれものの一部を削り中身が見えるようにしました。膨らんだ柔らかい雰囲気とザラッとした中身の質感の対比が面白い作品に仕上がりました。」
A porcelain container is filled with glaze which is formed into a ball shape and then covered with a full lid with the last swelling glaze and fired. After firing, a part of the container is cut off so that the contents can be seen. The contrast between the softness of the swollen atmosphere and the rough texture of the contents is an interesting result of this work.
