岐阜県美濃加茂市で作陶している阿曽藍人さんは、野焼きという方法で土器を制作しています。土を自ら掘り、表現に併せてさらに土を調合し、形にする。石で磨き、火の中へ。土の表情に加え、彫刻的な造形もご覧ください。

人だけでなく、いきものに選ばれるような道具をつくりたいと思いました。
それは住処のようにからだをつつみこむ場所。
それは用と無用のあいだにある曖昧な何か。
土をこねて、火で焼く。できたものを土器と呼んでみます。

★10月3日（土）19時より、土器や野焼きをテーマに譽田亜紀子さんと阿曽藍人さんとのトークショーをインスタライブで行います。
譽田亜紀子さんの著書の販売も会期中行います。

ASO Rando He digs up the clay himself, mixes the clay further with his expression, and gives it shape. He then polishes the clay with stones and places it in the fire. In addition to the expression of the clay, you can also see the sculptural form of the ceramics.

I wanted to make tools that would be chosen not only by people, but also by living things.
It is a place that embraces the body like a dwelling place.
It’s something ambiguous between usefulness and uselessness.
Knead the clay and bake it over a fire. I will call the resulting product an earthenware vessel.
