愛知県を拠点に制作をしている宮下香代さんの個展「風 光 感 景」を開催します。
和紙とワイヤーを使った、モビールや壁掛け、オブジェなどの繊細で美しい作品が水犀に並びました。 作品が風や光と共に変化する景色を存分に楽しんでいただける展示となっています。 宮下さんだけが作り出すことのできる凛とした空気感を水犀でぜひお楽しみください。

We are pleased to present “Wind, Light, Feeling, and Scene” a solo exhibition by Kayo Miyashita, based in Aichi Prefecture.
Her delicate and beautiful works using Japanese paper and wire, such as mobiles, wall hangings, and objects, will be displayed at Suisai. In this exhibition, you can fully enjoy the scenery as the works change with the wind and light. Please enjoy the dignified atmosphere that only Miyashita can create at the MIZUSAI.

Light that teaches us about the brilliance that has fallen on the world The wind that reminds us of what we have forgotten in the darkness when we close our eyes. I will use the power of materials to give form to the unseen.　 Kayo Miyashita

The artist will be in the gallery on July 3 and 4.
We will be open until 5:00 p.m. on the last day, Sunday, July 11.

1985　　愛知県立芸術大学美術学部デザイン専攻卒業

しなやかで繊細、美しくあり強靭な和紙に出会い
その風合い、素材感を活かしたものづくりを始める。
主に紙と針金を用いてモビール、オブジェなどを制作

Encountered the supple, delicate, beautiful and strong Japanese paper.
Began making things using its texture and materiality.
Began making mobiles and objects using mainly paper and wire.
