千葉県いすみ市のサーファー、奥村乃さんの書の個展です。古い和紙を使い、筆で自由気ままに書いた書です。
ある日、大量の古い和紙を手に入れたことで、書の制作がはじまりました。カッコ良かったり、面白かったり、意味不明だったり。それぞれの感性で楽しんでいただけたらと思います。
ちなみに奥村乃さんはコンテンポラリーアンティーク集団「畳」のリーダーでもあります。

Some of the exhibited works will be available for sale on the web from 18:00 on Sept 4.

This is a solo exhibition of calligraphy by OKUMURA Dai, a surfer from Isumi City, Chiba Prefecture. Using old Japanese paper, He writes freely with a brush.
One day, he got a large amount of old Japanese paper and started to create calligraphy. Some are cool, some are funny, and some are unintelligible. I hope you will enjoy it with your own sensitivity.
By The way, Mr. Dai Okumura is also the manager of the contemporary antique dealer’s group called “tatami”..
