沖縄県南城市で作陶する陶芸家佐藤尚理さんの個展「見えているものと見えないもの」を開催しています。
今回はオブジェ、壺、ドーローイングが中心の展示となりました。大学で彫刻を学んだ佐藤さんの作る陶の作品は、どれも心なごむフォルムです。 平面を意識して制作された新作のオブジェは、グラフィカルな形の花器の上に形と色と模様を組み合わせた植物のような立体がジョイントされています。とてもユニークで楽しい作品に仕上がっています。壺や花器類は佐藤さんらしいシルエットと模様が魅力的です。ドローイングもリズム感ある色と線で自由に描かれていてとても楽しい気分になる作品です。

SATO Naomichi Solo Exhibition “visible and invisible”

Naori Sato, a ceramic artist working in Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture, is holding a solo exhibition entitled “visible and invisible”.
Objects, vases, and drawings were the focus of this exhibition. Having studied sculpture at university, Sato’s ceramic works all have a soothing form. The new objet d’art, created with a flat surface in mind, is a plant-like three-dimensional object jointed with a combination of shapes, colors, and patterns on top of a graphically shaped vase. The result is a very unique and enjoyable work. The vases and vases are attractive with Sato’s typical silhouettes and patterns. The drawings are also very enjoyable, freely drawn with rhythmic colors and lines.

1974生まれ2000年頃から彫刻家として活動を始める。2008年夏、ドイツミュンヘン美術大学に研究生として留学。スペイン巡礼の徒歩旅行などドイツを拠点にヨーロッパを巡る。
2009年冬、帰国後陶芸をはじめる。
2012年2月器bonohoオープン。
