小川哲 OGAWA SATOSHI / OS-002i 尺三寸皿

直径約40cmの存在感のある大皿です。成井窯さんがろくろで引いた生地に、小川さんが白化粧で画面を作り、書き落としと釉薬で模様を描いた作品です。リム部分のグラフィカルな文字の書き落としと2種類の釉薬による模様が魅力的です。裏面も見応えがあります。こちらの作品は成井窯の登窯で焼成した作品です。
This is a large dish with a strong presence, measuring approximately 40 cm in diameter. This work is made by Ogawa, who created a screen with white glazed clay on a piece of cloth drawn on a wheel by Narui Kiln, and drew patterns on it by scribbles and glazes. The graphical characters at the rim are carved in lines, and the patterns created by two different glazes are attractive. The reverse side is also worth seeing.This piece was fired in the climbing kiln of Narui Kiln.
