宮内知子 MIYAUCHI Tomoko / 木殻壺 MT43 object

樹種：クス　ケヤキ　カヤ　キハダ　タモ
細かい線を白漆で象嵌した木の壺です。木を接ぎ合せて木工旋盤、ノミ、カンナで成形し、白漆＋砥の粉で模様を描いています。ウレタンを浸みこませて、蜜蝋、荏胡麻油を塗布しています。耐水性はありますが、水は入れられません。植物を活ける際は落としなどをお使いください。

This wooden vase is inlaid with fine lines in white lacquer.The wood is glued together and shaped with a wood lathe, chisel and canner, and the pattern is drawn with white lacquer and stone powder. It is soaked in polyurethane and coated with beeswax and egoma oil. It is water-resistant, but cannot hold water. If you want to put a plant in it, please use a remover.
