タナカシゲオ TANAKA Shigeo / 白瓷割高台盌 T25 bowl

白磁の祭器碗です。十字に割られた高台と碗部分のバランスがとても魅力的な作品。穴窯焼成のため、見込には焼成時の灰と思われる降り物が見られます。使用している磁器土は日本の陶石と韓国の土を理想とする李朝の風合いにするためタナカさんがブレンドしています。
A white porcelain ritual bowl. The balance between the cruciformly split base and the bowl portion is very attractive. Because it was fired in an anagama kiln, the bottom of the bowl has some ashes that seem to have come from the firing process. Mr. TANAKA blends Japanese potter's clay and Korean clay to create the ideal texture of Lee Dynasty.
