素焼きの状態に染付呉須（絵具）で細い筆を使い線描きした後、だみ、といって濃淡を付けます。繊細な仕事が凝縮された１枚です。
「祥瑞手は、明代の中国の染付の様式で、日本の茶人が中国に特注した茶器の模様です。これを桃の中に描いたらぴったり来そう、と思って作りました。」
After drawing lines on the unglazed pottery with a fine brush, I add shades of color called "Dami". This is a piece of fine work condensed into a piece of art. Xiangzui-te is a Chinese dyeing style from the Ming dynasty, and was a pattern for tea ceremony vessels that Japanese tea masters custom-made for China. It is the pattern of the tea ceremony utensils custom made by the Japanese tea masters for China.
