木を素材とする安彦年朗さんとはっとりこうへいさん、陶を素材とする角橋俊さんでの３人展です。
元気でカラフルな作品が水犀にやってきました。木と陶のパワー溢れるオブジェが中心の楽しい展示です。

安彦さんは具象的なモチーフを自身のフィルターを通してユーモアのある木工作品に仕立てます。身近なモチーフが多いのですが、どれも新鮮です。手の込んだ丁寧な仕事とカラフルな色使いで、見るひとを楽しい気分にしてしまいます。今回は定番のさじから、人形、大きな作品が並びました。

はっとりさんは、木にアクリルガッシュを何層にも塗り重ねてから色層を彫刻する技法で作品制作しています。大胆な形と色のバランスがとても面白く、色の持つパワーを実感できる作品です。大学では彫刻を専攻していたはっとりさんの作品は、しっかりとした形の面白さも堪能できます。

角橋さんは、粘土を素材に抽象的な形を作り、さまざまな色で抽象的なペインティングを施した陶の作品を作っています。要素が過剰なのに、爽やかさを感じる作品に仕上がっています。素材は　陶ですが、陶の範疇を超えた作品になっています。

今回の展示では「和して同ぜず」それぞれの良さが響いています。

This is a three-person exhibition with ABIKO Toshiro and HATTORI Kouhei using wood as the material, and KADOHASHI Shun using ceramic as the material.
We are pleased to announce the arrival of these colorful and energetic works at MIZUSAI. This is a fun exhibition of wood and ceramic objects full of power.

ABIKO takes figurative motifs and turns them into humorous wood works through his own filter. Although many of the motifs are familiar to us, they are all fresh. His elaborate, careful work and colorful use of color make the viewer feel happy. This time, we have a variety of items from standard spoons to dolls and large pieces.

HATTORI uses a technique of applying multiple layers of acrylic gouache to wood and then carving out the color layers. The balance of bold shapes and colors is very interesting, and you can really feel the power of color in these works. HATTORI majored in sculpture at university, so you can also enjoy the interest of the solid form.

KADOHASHI makes ceramic works, using clay as a material to create abstract shapes and abstract paintings in a variety of colors. Despite the excess of elements, the work has a refreshing feel to it. The material is ceramic, but the work goes beyond the category of ceramic.

In this exhibition, the goodness of each of them resonates “harmoniously but not mutually”.

2011年　イギリス滞在時、セラミック作家のSandy Brownと出会い、昔絵が好きだったことを思い出し、現地で 制作を始める。
帰国後、国内外で作ったものを発表。千葉県在住

2001　Began making lighting fixtures.
2005　Began woodworking in Motegi-machi, Tochigi Prefecture.
Currently lives in Ibaraki Prefecture.

HATTORI Kouhei
1978　Born in Tokyo, Japan
2007　　Completed Graduate School of Musashino Art University, Department of Sculpture
I use a technique in which I apply multiple layers of acrylic gouache and then sculpt the color layers.

KADOHASHI Shun
1984　Born in Hyogo Prefecture
In 2011, while staying in England, she met Sandy Brown, a ceramic artist, and remembered her love for painting. After returning to Japan, she has exhibited her work both in Japan and abroad.
