中田篤 ×常田泰由 “Color & Sense”

陶芸家・中田篤さんと版画家・常田泰由さんの二人展を開催します。今回は色(color)と感覚(sense)がテーマの展示です。二人の色彩感覚、土と紙という違う素材の楽しい組み合わせの展示です。

中田さんは、たくさんの壁掛けと蓋もの作品を中心に展示。どれもユニークな形と楽しい色で気分の上がる作品です。

常田さんは今回、版画ではなく新聞の連載の挿絵として作られたコラージュ作品をメインに展示しています。コラムとの連動という制約の中で制作された作品は心地よい緊張感があり、前向きな気持ちになリます。 ※中田さんの壁掛けに関しては作品は2024年1月の中旬頃販売予定です。 作家プロフィール profile　〉

NAKATA Atsushi × TOKIDA Yasuyoshi Group Show “Color & Sense”

We are pleased to present a two-person exhibition of ceramic artist NAKATA Atsushi and printmaker TOKIDA Yasuyoshi. The theme of this exhibition is color and sense. The two artists’ sense of color, and the combination of different materials, clay and paper, make for an enjoyable exhibition.

NAKATA’s exhibit focuses on a large number of wall hangings and lids. All of the pieces have unique shapes and fun colors to lift one’s spirits..

For this exhibition, TOKIDA mainly exhibits collages created not as prints but as illustrations for a serial newspaper column. The works, created within the constraints of the column, have a pleasant sense of tension and a positive feeling..
