東京、パリ、ニューヨークを拠点にグローバルに活躍する、画家・平野傑さんの個展です。平野さんの様々な記憶が散りばめられた作品が水犀に並びました。 バラエティーに富んだ作風で見応えのある展示となっています。


私の中にはたくさんの記憶があり、その、それぞれのことがらの思い出や、衝撃や、心温まる感情が、少しずつ、たぶん１０％ずつくらいの記憶が重なり合い、100％を目指しているように思う。その無数の個、である点が重なり合い、線となり、やがてまた線が重なり合い、面として構築されていく。

This is a solo exhibition of Tsuyoshi HIRANO, a globally active painter based in Tokyo, Paris, and New York. Hirano’s works, which are scattered with various memories, were lined up at Mizusai The variety of styles makes the exhibition worth seeing.

I have many memories inside me, and the memories, shocks, and heartwarming emotions of each of these things, little by little, maybe 10% each, seem to be overlapping, and aiming for 100%. The countless individual dots overlap and become lines, and eventually the lines overlap again and are constructed as surfaces.

1968 年 大阪生まれ。
フランスの文化に影響され、1992年に渡仏。1995年にフランスを代表するル・モンド紙に大々的に挿絵が掲載される。これを機にCartierをはじめ、CELINE、ISSEY MIYAKE、などの様々な ハイブランドとのコラボレーションで作品を提供し、一躍注目される。 その後、自身の作品制作を精力的に行い、個展や展覧会を開催。 「Tsuyoshi HIRANO.」という独自の世界観を確立する。 彼がしなやかに醸し出す雰囲気のライブペイントイベントも好評を博し、全国各地で行っている。 現在、東京、パリ、ニューヨークを拠点にグローバルに活躍中。
