今回水犀では2回目の展示となる、千葉県四街道市で作陶されている笹本雅行さん、竹内陽子さんご夫婦。LIVINGSTONEは工房名です。

笹本さんは、抽象的なフォルムや動物をテーマとしたオブジェなど、また、ホメロスの叙事詩「イリアス」と惑星との関わりからイメージした作品など。竹内さんは、絵を描くように自由な表現をしたいという永年のテーマのもと、絵画的な絵付けのオブジェや器のほか、陶板画、ドローイングも展示します。
お二人の世界観をぜひご覧ください。

LIVINGSTONE is the name of the studio of SASAMOTO Masayuki and TAKEUCHI Yoko, a couple from Yotsukaido City, Chiba Prefecture.

Mr. SASAMOTO’s works include abstract forms, animal-themed objects, and works inspired by the relationship between Homer’s epic poem “The Iliad” and the planets. Ms. TAKEUCHI will exhibit objects and vessels painted in a painterly style, as well as ceramic plates and drawings, based on his longstanding theme of wanting to express himself as freely as he paints. Please come and see the world of the two artists.

The artist will be in the gallery on December 18 and 19.
The gallery will be open until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, the last day of the exhibition.
