澤田麟太郎 SAWADA Rintaro / storage 2020 -緑釉犬- SR13

東京国立博物館に所蔵されている緑釉犬（後漢時代2-3c）をモデルに形を作り、内側に発泡する釉薬を詰めて焼成した作品。まるでマーライオンのように釉薬が溢れ出ました。
This piece was shaped on the model of a green-glazed dog (2-3c, Later Han Dynasty) owned by the Tokyo National Museum, and then filled with foaming glaze and fired. The glaze overflowed as if it were the Merlion of Singapore.
