堀貴春 HORI Takaharu / HTH-30i White spider Ψ22

蜘蛛をモチーフに、その進化を想像しながら作った作品です。両手のひらに乗るサイズ。蜘蛛の独特な雰囲気を出すため脚は全て曲面で成形して蜘蛛の軽やかさを表現し、尻はエッジを活かした形でメリハリをつけています。作品タイトルの記号に合わせた形に仕上げていて、見る角度によって「ΣΠΨ」のそれぞれ記号に見えるようになっています。
作品は全て鋳込み技法で制作しています。土で原型を作り、パーツごとに石膏で型取りし石膏型を作り、磁器の泥漿を流し込みパーツを作ります。パーツを組み立て、釉薬をかけて焼成してます。

This work was created using a spider as a motif, imagining its evolution. The size fits in the palm of both hands. To create the unique atmosphere of a spider, the legs are all molded with curved surfaces to express the lightness of a spider, and the buttocks are shaped with edges to create a crisp look. The shape of the work is made to match the symbols of the work's title, and depending on the angle of view, each of the "ΣΠΠΨ" symbols can be seen.
All of his works are created using the casting technique. A mold is made of clay, each part is molded in plaster, a plaster mold is made, and porcelain slip is poured into the mold to make each part. The parts are assembled, glazed, and fired.With paulownia box
