乾いた大地と瑞々しい苔の対比を、黒化粧と青九谷の絵具で表現。さらに書き落としによる荒々しい質感が加わり、力強い表情を生み出しています。水元さんが新たな表現に挑戦した意欲的な一作です。

The contrast between dry earth and lush moss is expressed using black slip and blue Kutani pigments. Added to this, the rough texture created by freehand brushwork gives the piece a powerful presence. This is an ambitious work in which Mizumoto boldly explores a new form of expression.
