水元かよこ MIZUMOTO Kayoko / MIK-26_26 Dandelion

蒲公英（たんぽぽ）と綿毛をモチーフにした一枚です。地色には古い九谷焼に見られる細やかな文様が丁寧に描き込まれ、その上に白い粒が重なり、やわらかな浮遊感と奥行きを生み出しています。綿毛が風に乗って広がっていくような軽やかさと、伝統的な装飾の重なりが響き合う作品です。器として日常使いできるだけでなく、壁掛けとしてもお楽しみいただける一枚です。

This piece features dandelions and their seeds as its motifs. The base is meticulously decorated with intricate patterns reminiscent of traditional old Kutani ware, over which white specks are layered, creating a soft sense of floating and depth. The lightness of the seeds drifting on the wind harmonizes beautifully with the layered traditional decoration. Not only can it be used as a functional vessel in daily life, but it can also be enjoyed as a wall-hanging.

*The artwork is scheduled to be shipped after the end of the exhibition on April 16.
