牧由加里 MAKI Yukari / MY-55 壺型オブジェ-01

直径52cmの大壺。楠木の塊をノミで彫りあげた作品です。途中で木を継いでいます。外側は錆漆で仕上げています。内側はリズム感のあるノミ跡が残されています。洗練されたシルエットと砂と漆の濃淡の表情もカッコよく決まっています。
※こちらの作品の発送は会期終了後の10月3日以降となります。
Large jar. This piece was carved out of a block of camphor wood with a chisel. The wood is joined in the middle. The outside is finished with rusty lacquer. The inside has rhythmic chisel marks. The refined silhouette and the expression of the shades of sand and lacquer are also cool.
*The works will be shipped after the exhibition ends on October 3.
