［紙にテンペラ地塗り・鉛筆・胡粉］
20代以降描いてこなかった自画像を敢えて今、マイルストーンとして描いた作品です。2008年にベースとなる顔の部分を描き、本年、髪や背景や頬のハイライトなどを加筆し完成させました。
水彩紙にテンペラ絵具で地塗りし、鉛筆と胡粉で表現しています。
額は大地堂のオーダー品で、フランスのリボン装飾です。

This work is a self-portrait, deliberately created now as a milestone, having avoided painting self-portraits since my twenties. The base of the face was painted in 2008, and this year, the hair, background, and highlights on the cheeks were added to complete the piece.
The work is executed on watercolor paper, first prepared with a tempera ground, then rendered using pencil and gofun.
The frame is a custom-made piece by Daichidō, featuring French ribbon-style ornamentation.
