作家が子どもの頃に住んでいた家の裏山はとても大好きで大切な場所でしたがそこは軍事訓練の近くでもありました。軍事訓練所との境の塀の上には有刺鉄線が張られていました。
作家はこの有刺鉄線の描く円が、自分を迎え入れてくれるような合図に思えたそうです。そのイメージを花の首飾りに見立てて制作しました。とても美しい作品です。

The mountain behind the artist's childhood home was a favorite and cherished place, but it was also near military training camps. There was barbed wire on the fence that bordered the military training camp. The artist felt that the circles drawn by the barbed wire were a signal to welcome him. she created this image as a necklace of flowers. It is a very beautiful work.
