山に囲まれた盆地に住む金子さんは、自然に山を描くようになりました。しかし、すべての作品に共通しているのは、現実の景色を描いたわけではなく、すべてが想像に基づいていることです。「縫う」「編む」「巻きつける」といったモチーフを、削る・擦る・消しとるという独自の技法で表現しています。
Living in a basin surrounded by mountains, Mr. Kaneko naturally began to paint the landscape. However, what unites all of his works is that they do not depict real-world scenery; instead, each piece is based entirely on imagination. Themes such as "sewing," "weaving," and "winding" are expressed through his unique techniques of carving, rubbing, and erasing.
