少年時代のモーツァルトがモデルです。幼い頃から父とともに各地を巡る演奏ツアーの日々を送っていた彼。たまに宿へ届く遠い母からの手紙と香りの詰まった箱を手にした彼はどんな心境になったのだろうか。そんな空想から描かれた作品です。
水彩紙にインクで陰影を描き、そこに水彩絵具で彩色しています。
スペインデザインを採り入れ、大地堂にオーダー制作をした額を使用しています。

[Ink and watercolor on paper]
This work is modeled on Mozart in his boyhood. From an early age, he spent his days traveling from place to place on performance tours with his father. One can only imagine what he may have felt when, on occasion, a letter from his mother—far away—arrived at their lodging, accompanied by a small box filled with her scent. This work was inspired by such a reverie.
Shading is rendered in ink on watercolor paper, then enriched with watercolor pigments.
The frame is a custom-made piece produced by Daichidō, incorporating elements of Spanish design.
