This is a sculptural work composed of two interlocking forms.Carved from camphor wood, the contrast between the chisel-marked, textured surfaces and the sharp edges harmonizes with the deep black of the urushi lacquer, giving the piece a dignified and striking presence.The work can be appreciated from multiple angles.
