UNO Yu
Born in 1996 in Osaka Prefecture and currently based in Kyoto, UNO Yu is a visual artist who focuses on ceramics as fragile objects. Embracing both damage and the effects of aging, he creates works that incorporate techniques from other disciplines.
With an awareness of how culture and art history approach preservation, he proposes new perspectives on the existence of objects, the ways we interact with them, and how they can be passed on to the future.
