吉川和人
1976年生まれ 福島県出身
慶応義塾大学商学部卒業後、株式会社カッシーナ・イクスシーにて勤務。
在職中に一年間の育児休暇を取得すると同時に渡仏。
2012年に同社を退社し、岐阜県立森林文化アカデミーにて木工技術の基礎と日本の森林文化を学ぶ。

​ 2017年株式会社ウォールデンウッズを設立。
学校法人自由学園女子部の教室家具の製作や豊岡市立図書館の彫刻家具などのプロジェクトも手掛けつつ、個展の開催や、個人邸、公共施設、レストランの家具や食器の制作をメインに現在は神奈川と三重にて制作活動中。

YOSHIKAWA Kazuto
Born in 1976 in Fukushima, Japan.
After graduating from the Faculty of Commerce at Keio University, Kazuto Yoshikawa joined Cassina ixc. Ltd.
During his time there, he took a one-year parental leave, during which he lived in France.
In 2012, he left the company and enrolled at the Gifu Academy of Forest Science and Culture, where he studied the fundamentals of woodworking techniques and Japan's forest culture.

In 2017, he founded Walden Woods Inc.
Alongside projects such as producing classroom furniture for Jiyu Gakuen Girls' School and sculptural furniture for the Toyooka City Library, he has continued to present solo exhibitions while primarily creating furniture and tableware for private residences, public institutions, and restaurants.
He currently lives and works between Kanagawa and Mie, Japan.
