三重県の工房の裏を流れる宮川。
その清らかな流れは、伊勢神宮の禊川としても知られています。このサイドテーブルは、その川辺に転がる石の有機的なフォルムから着想を得て生まれました。
天板は、左右非対称のやわらかな楕円形。材には、緻密で硬く、美しい木目を持つ楓を使用し、川石のように滑らかで心地よい手触りに仕上げています。軽やかな印象を与える3本脚のデザインは、安定感を保ちながら、脚の間をソファの脚や角に差し込める構造となっており、手元まで引き寄せてお使いいただけます。ソファサイドやラウンジチェアの傍らなど、さまざまなシーンで活躍する一台です。
現在展示している作品は、展覧会終了後に発送いたします。現品販売終了後は、受注制作にて承ります。その場合、完成まで約50日のお時間をいただきます。

Flowing behind the artist's workshop in Mie Prefecture is the Miyagawa River, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and also known as the sacred river used for purification rites at Ise Grand Shrine. This side table was inspired by the organic forms of the stones scattered along its riverbank.
The asymmetrical, softly rounded tabletop is crafted from Japanese maple, a dense and durable hardwood prized for its fine grain and subtle beauty. Carefully finished to evoke the smooth, tactile quality of a river stone, its surface invites both the eye and the hand.Supported by three slender legs, the table has a light, graceful presence while maintaining excellent stability. The open structure between the legs allows the base to slide around the legs or corners of a sofa, making it easy to draw the tabletop close at hand.Whether placed beside a sofa, lounge chair, or reading corner, this versatile piece brings a quiet sense of warmth and refinement to a variety of living spaces.
