A4サイズの紙にプリントした写真の上に、同じA4サイズの白い紙を重ね、写真の見える範囲を限定した作品です。写真の左右を白い紙で覆い、中央に残された細い縦長の部分だけが見える構成です。
見える範囲を限定することで、そこに写るもの同士の関係が変わり、普段見慣れた風景を新たな「場所」として捉え直すことを試みています。
水犀のある蔵前にて撮影。

作家コメント：
「見る範囲を限定すること」 ≒ 「そこに存在する事物の関係性を限定すること」によってこそ生まれる場所を捉える試みです。

※作品の発送は、プリント制作のため、企画展終了から約1ヶ月後を予定しています。

This work consists of a photograph printed on A4-sized paper, overlaid with white sheets of the same size to limit the visible area of the image. The left and right sides of the photograph are covered, leaving only a narrow vertical section visible in the center.
By restricting the field of view, the relationships between the elements within the photograph are altered, offering a new way of perceiving a familiar scene as a distinct "place."
Photographed in Kuramae, Tokyo, where Mizusai is located.

Artist's Comment:
"This work is an attempt to capture a sense of place that emerges precisely through 'limiting the field of view' ≈ 'limiting the relationships between the elements that exist within it.'"
