ひし形金網と、その網目を通して見える向こう側の事物を撮影した写真作品。
手前の金網に焦点を合わせ、奥に見える線路や建物をぼかすことで、金網の形状を際立たせています。手前と奥の風景を一つの画面に収め、視線の奥行きや、そこに存在するもの同士の関係を捉え直すことを試みています。
作家のアトリエがある東京西部の住宅地にて撮影。
作家コメント：
「見る奥行きを延長すること」≒ 「そこに存在する事物の関係性を操作すること」によってこそ生まれる場所を捉える試みです。

This photographic work captures a diamond-patterned wire mesh fence and the elements visible through its openings.
By blurring the blue wire mesh in the foreground and focusing on the dense vegetation beyond it, the work explores new ways of perceiving visual depth and the relationships between the elements within the scene.
Photographed in a residential neighborhood in western Tokyo, where the artist's studio is located.
Artist's Comment:
"This work is an attempt to capture a sense of place that emerges precisely through 'extending the depth of view' ≈ 'manipulating the relationships between the elements that exist within it.'"
