重厚感と気品をたたえた白鳥。体部には流木の自然な造形を生かし、顔は楠を彫り出して制作されています。流木に見られる黒い部分は、かつて焦げた痕跡。異なる木の表情が響き合い、静かな存在感を放つ作品です。

A swan imbued with a sense of weight and dignity. The body makes use of the natural form of driftwood, while the head is carved from camphor wood. The darkened areas seen in the driftwood are traces of past charring. The contrasting expressions of the different woods resonate with one another, giving the work a quiet yet commanding presence.
