A large faceted cylindrical tea bowl.
Though shaped as a tea bowl, it has a scale closer to that of a flower vessel.
Custom ceramic decals based on the AI-generated character HAL are applied as overglaze decoration. The faceted form, subtle distortions, and strong foot ring give the piece a distinctive presence. The work combines a contemporary motif, HAL, with a deep respect for traditional Japanese ceramics. Its vivid yellow color adds a powerful visual impact.The calm blue tones give this work a quiet beauty.
