小泉巧 KOIZUMI Takumi / KT-36 器(大） vessel

コンピューターで図面を作り、ケント紙を使い形作り、仕上げに漆を塗る「紙胎」という技法で作られた鉢です。黒漆と茶色の漆塗り重ねが美しい円形の器です。縁には薄い和紙をはりテクスチャーを付けています。水を入れても大丈夫なので器として利用できます。

This is a vase made using a computer-generated drawing, shaped using Kent paper, and finished with a japanese lacquer coating. This circular vessel has beautiful layers of black and brown lacquer coating. The rim is covered with thin Japanese paper to add texture. It can be used as a vessel as it can be filled with water.
*Please note that this work will be shipped after September 19, 2023, after the exhibition ends.
