トルコ製のアンティークボードに、磁器で作られた秋刀魚を配した壁掛け作品です。ボードには、蒔絵の技法による金のラインが施されています。海洋問題をテーマとしながらも、どこかユーモラスで楽しい雰囲気を感じさせます。

This wall-mounted work features a porcelain Pacific saury presented on an antique Turkish board. Gold lines have been applied to the board using the traditional maki-e technique. While addressing marine environmental issues, the work retains a playful and subtly humorous quality.
