花影とは、光に照らされた花が地に映す影のことです。輪切りにした木を風雨にさらし、自然の力によって木の色に多様な風合いを出しました。表面をワイヤーブラシで磨き、木の質感を際立たせ、さらに鉄媒染で黒く染めることで、さまざまな表情が生まれました。染色の為、水洗い等お避けください。
"Hanakage""(floral shadow) refers to the shadow cast on the ground by a flower illuminated by light. A cross-section of wood was exposed to the elements, allowing nature to impart various textures and colors to the wood. The surface was then polished with a wire brush to accentuate the natural texture, and further blackened with an iron mordant, creating a range of expressions in the wood.Due to the delicate dyeing process, please avoid washing with water or exposing the piece to moisture.
