美しい水を思わせる、柔らかなフォルムの作品です。波打つ上面は、バーナーで焦がし削ることで立体感を出し、土を塗ることで水が化石になったような表情を生み出しています。鉄媒染で染めた楠の台は、小波のようなノミ跡と独特の線で構成され、まるで額縁のように本体を引き立てながら、台自体もひとつの作品として佇んでいます。
This piece features a soft, flowing form reminiscent of beautiful water. The wavy top surface, burned and scraped with a torch, creates a sense of three-dimensionality, while the application of clay gives it an appearance as if water has turned to stone. The base, made of camphor wood dyed with iron mordant, is adorned with chisel marks and unique lines that resemble small waves, acting like a frame that enhances the main piece, while also standing as a work of art in its own right.
