田中健太郎 TANAKA Kentarou / TK-2 他日(たじつ)

幅約1.6mの大作です。自分が過ごす時間と同じように、誰かのもとにもそれぞれの時間が流れている。本作は、目に見えない「時間」の流れをテーマに制作されました。昨年、田中さんが訪れた岩手で出会った人や馬と共有した、静かに流れる時間の記憶を手がかりに、目の前に見えているものだけではない気配や時間が、この作品には込められています。

This is a large-scale work measuring approximately 1.6 meters in width. Just as time flows in our own lives, it also flows uniquely for others. This piece was created with the theme of the invisible flow of “time.” Drawing on memories of quietly passing moments shared with people and horses Tanaka encountered in Iwate last year, the work is imbued with presences and layers of time that extend beyond what is immediately visible.
