韓国の土を用いて描かれた静物画です。
本作品は、さまざまな土を粉末にして一度焼成した後、顔料、膠、絵画用メディウムを用いて幾重にも重ねながらキャンバスに描かれています。
伝統の形を感じる花器、それが置かれた空間を平面的な構成で表現しながらも、どこか温かな愛情を感じさせます。日々の暮らしにそっと寄り添ってくれるような、やさしい作品です。

A still-life painting created using Korean clay.
For this work, various types of clay are ground into powder and fired once before being applied to the canvas in multiple layers using pigments, animal glue, and painting medium.
The flower vessel, whose form evokes traditional Korean ceramics, and the space surrounding it are expressed through a flat composition. Yet the work conveys a gentle sense of warmth and affection. It is a tender painting that seems to quietly accompany everyday life.
