登窯で焼成した陶器の椅子です。
土と白化粧、焼成によって現れたほんのりとした緋色が織りなす豊かなテクスチャーが魅力です。斜めに走る龍をイメージした鱗模様が、作品にやわらかな印象を添えています。
椅子として使用できる構造になっていますが、オブジェとしても存在感のある作品です。

A ceramic chair wood-fired in a traditional climbing kiln.
The rich surface texture created by the clay, white slip, and subtle blushes of hi-iro produced during firing is one of the work's defining qualities. The scale pattern, inspired by a dragon moving diagonally across the surface, adds a gentle rhythm and warmth to the piece.
*Please note that this work will be shipped after the exhibition closes, from August 5 onward.
*That this is a large-scale work. Shipping arrangements will be discussed with the purchaser separately after the order is placed.
