組み立て、切り取り、層を重ね、侵食させるような制作工程によって、想像上の風景の一部を切り取ったような形がつくられています。発掘されたものと構築されたもの、古代と現代、両方の印象をあわせ持つ彫刻作品です。崩れ落ちた風景の一片を思わせる、ワイルドで存在感のある作品です。

Through processes of building, cutting, layering and erosion, the artist creates a form resembling a fragment of an imagined landscape. Both excavated and constructed, ancient and contemporary, the work has a distinctly sculptural presence. Suggestive of a fragment broken away from a crumbling landscape, it is a raw and striking work.
