組み立て、切り取り、層を重ね、侵食させるような制作工程によって、想像上の風景の一部を切り取ったような形がつくられています。発掘されたものと構築されたもの、古代と現代、両方の印象をあわせ持つ彫刻作品です。天板のような水色の面と、侵食された脚部の対比が印象的です。

Through processes of building, cutting, layering and erosion, the artist creates a form resembling a fragment of an imagined landscape. Both excavated and constructed, ancient and contemporary, the work has a distinctly sculptural presence. The contrast between its pale blue, table-like surface and eroded legs is particularly striking.
