田原唯之 Tadayuki Tahara / TTA-12 『捉え方の可視化エクササイズ – ひし形金網 – #1』『Exercises in Visualizing Perception – Chain-link fence – #1』

ひし形金網と、その網目を通して見える向こう側の事物を撮影した写真作品。
画面全体に広がる金網の格子模様と、その向こうに見える波板の壁やさらなる金網や植物が重なり、奥行きのある風景を生み出しています。手前と奥にあるもの同士の関係を捉え直すことで、新たな「場所」の見え方を探る作品です。
作家のアトリエがある東京西部の住宅地にて撮影。
作家コメント：
「見る奥行きを延長すること」≒ 「そこに存在する事物の関係性を操作すること」によってこそ生まれる場所を捉える試みです。

This photographic work captures a diamond-patterned wire mesh fence and the elements visible through its openings.
The geometric pattern of the wire mesh extends across the entire image, overlapping with the corrugated wall, additional wire fencing, and plants beyond it, creating a layered scene with a sense of depth. By reconsidering the relationships between elements in the foreground and background, the work explores new ways of perceiving a "place."
Photographed in a residential neighborhood in western Tokyo, where the artist's studio is located.
Artist's Comment:
"This work is an attempt to capture a sense of place that emerges precisely through 'extending the depth of view' ≈ 'manipulating the relationships between the elements that exist within it.'"
