韓国の土を用いて描かれた抽象絵画です。
本作品は、白土を粉末にして一度焼成した後、膠や絵画用メディウムを用いて幾重にも重ねながらキャンバスに描かれています。種類の異なる白土が生み出す繊細な色のニュアンスが、深みのある表情をつくり出しています。
平面作品でありながら、豊かな奥行きを感じさせる作品です。

An abstract painting created using Korean clay.
For this work, white clays are ground into powder and fired once before being applied to the canvas in multiple layers using animal glue and painting medium. The subtle variations in color produced by the different types of white clay create a surface of remarkable depth and nuance.
Although a two-dimensional work, it conveys a rich sense of depth.
