牧由加里 MAKI Yukari / MY-26-43 無題

直径52cmの大壺。楠の塊をノミで彫り上げ、途中で木を継ぎながら形づくられた作品です。外側は錆漆でテクスチャをつけ、下部にはノミ跡を残しています。
内側もノミで彫り、漆で仕上げています。洗練されたシルエットと、錆漆による砂のような質感や色の濃淡が力強い佇まいを生み出しています。

※作品の発送は、企画展終了後の10月15日以降となります。

A large vessel measuring 52 cm in diameter. Carved from a solid block of camphor wood with chisels, the work was shaped by joining additional sections of wood during the carving process.
The exterior is finished with sabi urushi, creating a textured surface, while chisel marks remain visible on the lower section.
The interior is also carved with chisels and finished with urushi lacquer.The refined silhouette, combined with the sand-like texture and subtle variations in tone created by the sabi urushi, gives the work a strong and distinctive presence.
