雲がたなびく月をイメージして制作された壁掛け作品です。円形を基調としながら、表面には緩やかな凹凸を施すことで、やわらかな陰影を生み出しています。
ガラス塗装を施しているため、壁から外してトレーとしてもお使いいただけます。
素材には、トチの古木から採れた希少なスポルテッド材を使用しています。トチは本来白い木肌を持つ樹種ですが、ごく稀に菌の作用によって繊細な筋模様が現れます。この模様は海外では「スポルテッド（Spalted Wood）」と呼ばれ、ギターの前板やビリヤードキュー、ステッキなどの高級木工品にも用いられる希少な材です。

This wall piece is inspired by the image of the moon veiled by drifting clouds. While based on a simple circular form, its gently undulating surface creates soft shadows that subtly change with the light.
Finished with a durable glass coating, it can also be removed from the wall and used as a tray.
The piece is crafted from rare spalted Japanese horse chestnut (Tochi) reclaimed from an old tree. Although horse chestnut is naturally pale in color, delicate dark lines occasionally appear through the natural action of fungi. Known internationally as spalted wood, this highly prized material is valued for its distinctive patterns and is often used in fine woodworking, including guitar soundboards, billiard cues, and walking sticks.
