カエデの黒筋入り材を用いて制作した吹き寄せ皿です。
水面や砂地に風が吹き寄せ、ゆるやかな起伏を描く情景をイメージしています。浅い窪みから深い窪みへと風が流れ、自然にふくらみが生まれていくような動きを、有機的なフォルムで表現。楓の滑らかな木肌に現れる黒筋の表情が魅力です。

This Fukiyose plate is crafted from maple with naturally occurring dark streaks.
The form is inspired by the gentle patterns created as wind sweeps across the surface of water or sand. Flowing from shallow depressions into deeper ones, the organic contours evoke the movement of wind gathering and shaping soft undulations.
The smooth texture of the maple, accented by its distinctive dark streaks, gives the piece a refined and expressive natural beauty.
